Teatro ZinZanni Announces New World Premiere Production
Everyone Wins at Casino ZinZanni, and the Stakes Have Never Been Higher

May 16 – September 8, 2013

SEATTLE, Wash. – April 11, 2013 – Teatro ZinZanni is excited to continue its 15th Anniversary year in Seattle with another brand new dinner-circus-cabaret production, Lucky in Love. Co-Directed by Joe De Paul (Cirque du Soleil and Teatro ZinZanni veteran) and Tobias Larsson (Co-Director of ZinZanni’s current production, Dinner at Wotan’s), the all-star cast of Lucky in Love is chock-full of the world’s top tier circus and cabaret performers. Featuring the internationally renown talents of acrobatic trio Les Petits Frères and contortionist Vita Radionova, Lucky in Love also stars ZinZanni favorites including acclaimed chanteuse Francine Reed, remarkable trapeze artists Duo Madrona, gentleman juggler Sergiy Krutikov, and former Ringling Bros Clown Peter Pitofsky.

Everyone wins at Casino ZinZanni! But colossal jackpots equal big trouble for the house. Proprietress Ruby is betting that her casino could hit the big time with a stellar show and a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE. Willing to wager that crooner Ricky La Rue is just what the casino needs, Ruby offers the ultimate jackpot: a suitcase full of money! Acrobatic mimes, juggling dealers, high-flying love birds, and a contortionist cat burglar give Ruby more than she bargained for. The stakes have never been higher and as the old saying goes, if you are unlucky at gambling at least you’re Lucky in Love!

Teatro ZinZanni Executive Chef Erik Carlson has designed an all-new casino-inspired menu for Lucky in Love, with entree choices of gourmet Beef Wellington, Northwest Salmon, or Pasta Primavera (gluten and dairy-free options available). Bar Czar and master mixologist, Jamie-Paul Rizzo, will whet your whistle with his creatively delicious hand-crafted cocktails. The full dinner menu will be available online in the coming weeks.

Lucky in Love plays May 16 – September 8, 2013 (press opening May 30) at Teatro ZinZanni’s spectacular spiegeltent (222 Mercer Street). Tickets (starting at $108) include an incredible feast and may be purchased online at or by calling the Box Office at (206) 802-0015.

Just your average gal with two kids, a giant dog, an interesting life, and an ungodly obsession with certain quirky things. Sunblock for one. Electronics for another. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg…

My goal is to share fortuitous oddities and pearls of humor as I discover them. The best hair products, the worst customer service, the most delightfully random photos. You name it, I’ll share it.

I’m not just a Girl-about-town, I’m a Girl-about-town with a penchant for spreading the WORD.
